How it works

Your own automation in three steps

  1. Adopt a template

Pick a template from the Bot Factory and adopt it into your e! workspace.

  2. Individualise it in the editor

Questions, rules, text blocks, layout and connectors: you fit them to your processes without coding.

  3. Review and use

Review the bot professionally and legally. Then share it with your team or your clients.

  • A bot, not a chat

A bot takes every case through the same reviewed process. Deadlines are calculated, not estimated, and every step is logged.

  • Kept up to date

Legal position and thresholds are updated in the Bot Factory when they change.

Templates, not legal advice

Every bot is a starting point that you adapt to your practice. No bot replaces review by a qualified legal professional; the professional and legal review before use stays with you. Most templates follow German law.

Frequently asked questions about the Bot Factory

What is the Bot Factory?

The Bot Factory is the template library of e!: more than 200 ready-built legal bots in 23 categories, across 22 practice areas plus practice management with Advoware. You adopt a template into your e! environment, adapt it in the visual editor without code and use it after professional review.

Can I run the bots in production right away?

Technically yes, professionally only after your review. The templates are starting points, not certified legal products: legal position, deadlines, wording and calculations must be verified for your practice and will usually need adapting. Responsibility for use stays with you.

Is this legal advice?

No. Neither the templates nor this page constitute legal advice. The bots structure checks and generate drafts; the legal assessment of the individual case is made by the qualified professional.

What does “GDPR and EU AI Act ready” mean?

Platform and customer data are hosted on Microsoft Azure in Germany, in the Frankfurt and Berlin regions. Lexemo is certified to ISO/IEC 27001:2022, customer data is never used to train AI models, and the data processing agreement is available with a confidentiality undertaking under § 43e BRAO and § 203 StGB. Transparent processes, human review steps and logging help you document obligations under the AI Act. Classifying your specific deployment stays with your organisation.

Does Lexemo do the adaptation?

We are happy to help you build your automations. Our tool is designed so that you can build and manage them yourself with ease. You are the experts, and professional sign-off stays with you.

My use case is not here. What now?

Describe your process in your own words with AutoMate and it becomes a first bot. We are happy to help you build it. Rule of thumb: anything you could explain to a new colleague with a checklist can be built in e!.

Who has access to the library?

Every template is available to e! users, including trial accounts. If you do not use e! yet, we show you matching templates in a demo on a case from your practice.

How current is this overview?

The Bot Factory is extended continuously. Legal position and thresholds are updated in the Bot Factory when they change, and research connectors such as LexGraph give bots access to current case law at runtime. This page shows a snapshot; the current version of each template lives in e!.
