Today, we’ll be exploring the exciting world of policy creation with the help of AI. In this bot you will learn how to create any kind of Policy according to the standards determined by your company, your client or even your country. You can use this bot to easily generate a draft policy, saving you time and boosting your effectiveness.
We have set up the tool in a way that the user needs to enter their company name and its core activities. Now, by clicking on the “Create Policy” button the AI will do its magic and in a matter of seconds, you’ll have a customized draft ESG policy tailored to your needs.
– Let’s build this bot step by step! –
Step 1: Company Setup
First off, as always give your bot a catchy name and a concise description that highlights its purpose.
Next, we have added a “text” node to request the user to provide their company name and “text area” for users to enter details about their company activities.
Step 2: AI Configuration
Now it is time to unleash the power of AI with the “AI output node”. Start by choosing or creating your preferred AI Settings according to the quality and type of response you would like to get from the AI.
And here comes what you have been waiting for. Prompting. You may know this part from Chat GPT and other Large Language Models.
On one hand, we have the “system prompt”, in which we provide the necessary context and instructions for the AI. For our example we want to create an ESG policy covering the provided activities and with a determined structure. On the other hand, we have the “system prompt” which lets you define the query. In our example, here we are going to indicate the company name and activities variables. Consider this as a sample prompt that might inspire you.
Finally select how you want your AI to be triggered. We chose with a dedicated button, also selected “never” to avoid accidental re-triggering and as “button name” we wrote “create policy”. Bear in mind that these are the most appropriate settings for our example, however you can modify it to your liking.
Step 3: Generate Policy Template
Afterwards, to create a reusable template for our policy, we add a “boilerplate” node and include the “ai output variable”.
Right below, we have integrated a “Create PDF” and a “Create DOCX” node. In this case we have activated “enable download” as we want our client or colleague save the ESG policy. Don’t forget to add in both nodes the boilerplate variable to create the document.
Step 4: Showcase your policy
Now, we have added a logical condition to make sure that the following node, a text field node, will appear just if the AI output is not empty.
The purpose of the text field I have just mentioned is to showcase the ESG Policy on the front end, we add a “text field” node including the boilerplate variable. Remember that this node will only appear if the AI Output is not empty.
And the last node’s turn has come. We use the “send & result” node to save your inputs and display results.
Congrats! Now, with the power of AI by your side, you’re equipped to take your policy creation to the next level. You can use what you learned here and customize it for any type of policy or to build more complex bots using these core functionalities.
